Delete Your Account

What gets deleted
When you delete your Intellibre account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile (name, email, preferences)
- Reading paths, book lists, and library
- Notes, reviews, and other user-generated content
- Book club (circle) memberships and contributions
- Consent and cookie preferences
- Push notification tokens
Deletion is immediate. Some backup and server log data may persist for up to 30 days before being purged, and some records may be retained longer where required by law (for example, payment and tax records).
Option 1 — delete in the app
The fastest way is to delete your account directly from Intellibre:
- Open Intellibre (web or mobile) and sign in
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account
- Confirm Yes, Delete My Account
You'll be signed out immediately and your data removed.
Option 2 — request deletion by email
If you can't access your account, email us and we'll delete it for you:
Please send the request from the email address registered to your account so we can verify your identity. We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days.
